Yes, I am here on a fairly regular basis. I'm lucky enough to have Internet access at my job, and I check in two or three times a day for 5-10 minutes or so. The "users online" only updates about once a half hour and doesn't know whether someone's idle -- e.g., when someone's doing the work of a newspaper editor and two writers in addition to any of 15 additional duties. Now, let's get to the meat of the matter: the "speculation" of which you speak. Because it's not really speculation so much as it is you apparently spreading rumors and lies about MysticWicks, which I will not tolerate.

* MW is not going anywhere. Let me repeat that -- MW is not going anywhere.

* I'm certainly not the one in charge. Kind of funny that you'd even say that. The admins work through consensus on everything from reports to bans. I'm frequently the public face of the administrative action, a mantel I take on willingly because it frees up the other admins to take care of things like protecting MW from spammers and because really, if the people who've been banned from MW are going to talk shit about anyone, I'd prefer they talk shit about me. I'm a big boy, and I've dealt with being called names and being unpopular all my life.

I have zero idea on the plans of GEBS coming to explain her plans for the late issue. She is rarely here, and across the board ignores most of the emails, pms etc -- choosing to have the admins do what they think.

And the mag has never been something Mol does other then techie stuff and generally does not access from work.

Since they have stopped even announcing the reasons for the outages, like the long one this past weekend - I would not hold your collective breath that they will be available in a timely fashion for this issue.

The magazine being 17 days and counting late is proof of that pudding ...

Do not presume to know what is or is not ignored. Remember, MW is not mol's JOB. His job keeps him busy from 4am until the works for that day ends. If and when he has time to look at MW emails after working 15-18 hour days he handles what he can. I have not had any emails here OR on Facebook concerning the magazine or even MW. I can't ignore what never happened.

Do we need a reminder of the conversation we had following the last issue's mess up? It was explained to you that the EIC publishes the magazine. YOU are the EIC. YOU made arrangements to have the magazine handled by Amilee. You made these arrangements without any word to the admins here. We have every confidence in Amilee so it wasn't really an issue but YOU definitely acted outside of your permissions by naming her EIC for this issue. And if I recall, you named her EIC for the very reason for which you admonish me. You were busy in other areas of your life. Irony. Love it.

No, we chose to put people in place to handle those responsibilities. More irony... You are the one we put in charge (because of YOUR effort and stated desire to run the magazine) and when things fell apart we are at fault. The only way we are at fault is by making a poor choice for "leader" of the magazine.

I know that I should not respond but frankly, I'm tired of you. We make it our personal policy to not respond to disgruntled member posts but it's clear you cannot be a member here any longer.
